Master on July 14th, 1773, he settled in Paris in 1745 and worked as a free worker in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine. His reputation in France and abroad brought him a large clientele. He then started to provide furniture for ebenist such as Boudin, Migeon, Delorme, Hericourt (...)
He worked for many cabinetmakers, some of great renown. It is likely that several of his works appear under his signature. Sometimes his mark appears next to theirs. Its production is characterized by work of Louis XVI style, as well asTransition His work is very personal and very recognizable with inlays representing vases, teapots, cups, bowls, desks, or books......
French Revolution forced him into bankruptcy.
