Louis XVI period clock, in gilt bronze and white marble, representing Arts on one side and Sciences on the other, and surmounted by a cherub.

Clock signed Michel-François Piolaine, master in 1787, signed Piolaine à Paris. This kind of clocks can be found under the name of "pendules aux maréchaux" without knowing why.
