Portraitist and ethnologist of the early twentieth century.
He is passionate from an early age for insects. Felix Bryk studied classical painting and turned to a career as a painter. He stayed in Paris and Florence where he met Aino Makinen with whom he married in 1909 in Myllykylä. In parallel with his artistic studies, he continued to study insects.
Bryk comes to Sweden during the First World War. He exhibited his works and published entomological articles.
He traveled extensively in Europe, including Vienna, Paris, Florence and Stockholm, where he died.
